Support Earth Hour 2010 with Nomads Hostels

Earth Hour 2010 is on it's way. So Nomads hostels in Australia and New Zealand are all planning on marking this occasion with Earth Hour parties as well as switching off the lights for one hour at 8.30pm local time.

Every year Earth Hour gets bigger and hopefully 2010 will be the biggest yet.

Earth Hour falls at 8.30pm local time on March 27th, no matter where you are in the world. So gather your friends and family and switch off the lights and sit in darkness.... or go to a Nomads Hostel and enjoy, amongst other things, live acoustic music by candle-light, glow-stick parties or a nice candle-lit dinner.

For details of how Nomads is supporting Earth Hour 2010 check out http://nomadshostels.com/earthhour

The newly opened "Nomads Byron Bay" has taken out the honours winning "Best Backpacker Property, NSW" at the converted Golden Backpacker Awards.

The Golden Backpack Awards are Australia and New Zealand’s only dedicated awards program for the independent travel sector, winners were announced at a gala dinner in Sydney this week.
